‘NEW LEGISLATION’

As you may or may not know, our government is bringing into force new rules for rear seating.

As of 29th April 2012, all rear seats that carry passengers when the vehicle is in use

must pass the M1 safety standards and will carry a crash certificate.

This is for both ‘Newly registered vehicles’ and used vehicles which will have a ‘Change of use’

I.E. Conversation to Mini Bus or even a Camper.

At the end of April we will be offering two styles of CRASH TESTED FRAMES (PRICES TO FOLLOW).

These will come with fitting kits and instructions.

You may still fit a non crash tested frame, Before or after April 29th 2012,

But it must NOT be used for carrying passengers whilst

the vehicle is in motion and the frame must clearly be labelled

‘NOT TO BE USED FOR THE CARRYING OF PASSENGERS WHILST THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION’

Our current frame is also going to be available in a crash tested version.
